It's not bad stuff. I thought the military ate better than that these days.
The kids are coming over tonight and I'm going to make chicken fettucini alfredo.
Left over meat balls and fresh, home made mac and cheese.....and some sort of colorful vegetable.
Baked Spaghetti, green beans and cole slaw.
A couple of Johnsonville Brats, Nawlins variety, plus some leftover instant mashed potoatoes from last night, and some gravy/pulled pork. Its all I my brain could handle to rustle up this fare, as it was another mentally fatiguing day at the job.
Dollar burger, dollar salad, dollar parfait, dollar tea and free WiFi on account my 50 dollar a month Clear WiFi not working.
I made eggs. Nothing fancy, just eggs and toast. I had a couple of little pieces of Canadian bacon to put with it, but everything else was made in the U.S.A.
I went to the clubhouse and had Corned Beef, Cabbage, peas, mashed potatoes, rolls, and some kind of green creamy pudding. It was great.
I ask the cook day before yesterday why we were having a St. Paddy's day meal on the 15th. She said, "because Thursday is when we normally have the weekly meal and if we should change it to Saturday many of the members would be upset". Kind of tells you about the social circle I run in.
Life in the land of the early bird special.
That meal sounds good to me no matter when it's served Robbie. Well, not for breakfast, but any other time, oh yeah.
We're going to blow off our recommended diets tonight. On the menu: fried chicken, mashed potatoes with cheddar cheese, black eyed peas, and biscuits. We've been good with the right foods for so long now this feels like we're kids sneaking a smoke behind the gym.
