TBD

TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

I've been working on some genealogy stuff lately, off and on, as the spirit moves me.  I'm making online albums of photos, ephemera, and documents to share with family members, and its laborious work.  I think I'll work on that some more today.

The Super Bowl doesn't interest me a whole lot, but I'll watch it because, hey, its an event.

I love family history, it is time consuming , but what a labor of love :)

Its kind of my gift to the rest of the family.  There's scant interest, but the story of any family is a story worth preserving.  One cousin, my youngest brother, and I, all childless, share a love for family history.  Curiously, my step brother and his three sons are very interested, and this pleases me greatly.  Bloodlines are all well and good, but its the family members that make up the family history.

DD, I'm sharing things online, but I hope to find a family member to take physical possession of all of these crumbling albums and fading pictures.  Any one of the stepbrother's kids would certainly be the most deserving at this point.

That's a wonderful project.

Confused

My first little crocuses are blooming!

Spring is here, too, Goldilocks!

Sucky for sure!

My SO has to work this week-end, so I bought a new book and a keg of beer.  That should hold me.

Our taste of spring is over for now, it is cold and snowing here in the 'Burgh.

It's 20º w/windchill of 9º..:-)

Watching "Parking Wars".  It is hilarious!  People getting all wiggy about their own stupidity.
