It's October 1st and getting dark earlier and staying dark later.

I have mixed feelings about Fall.  The colors can be breath taking but the weather that brings the colors is not at all my favorite.

sleeping until 5:30?  ugh.  but at least you felt well enough to feed yourself, and i'm sure you fed the doggies!  maybe Sharon will let you take it easy over the weekend?  taking a few pics doesn't seem too   exhausting, and the doorbell will wait 'til you feel human again....  lots of OJ and tea and fluids of whatever sort, even if you have to mix rum in 'em....

Rum is good medicine!  I feel a little better tonight.  Hopefully I will sleep better and maybe sleep in until 6:00  LOL

the funeral service was lovely and i saw so many friends i have not seen in years...including my ol flame...was nice...

yes, that's the good thing about life event "gatherings" -- the chance to see folks we don't stay in touch with.  and it DOES help the soul....  hugs to you, Thalia!

i have friends coming for lunch today, and i'm happy about that.  they wanted a drive to see the fall foliage, and i'm a good day trip distance, so it works well for all of us!  yippee!

Yay It's still morning!  Good day Lynn, glad you have lunch company today.  Not much fall color here yet.  Maybe it hasn't been cold enough which is alright with me.  It's hard to believe the end of October is not far off already.

Hi all!  Been really hectic for me lately, and with no internet access at work, it looks like I'll be here less and less.  But it's the weekend, and I'm enjoying my computer time.  Richard, I hope you're feeling better. I didn't read back too far, but I did see you were not up to par.

 

Happy fall!   I'd like to hang on to it for a long time, because we all know what comes next.
