Hi Lynn, my back is better but not quite back to normal yet. It seems Sharon's mother is doing quite well. We are waiting for the radiologist report on the MRIs.

not normal seems to be status quo, at our "not-so-advanced" ages. sigh. the not-quite-MIL-issues aren't going away any time soon, but i hope you can get your back healed and separated from that version of stress, at least....

Afternoon folks...almost time for me to head home for the day...and by home I mean stopping by before I head to the church our theater group purchased. We are trying to get things ready for an open house and then for the November production that kicks off our season.
It has been another long day....my dear friend whose husband passed away stopped into the store, I could tell she just needed to get out of the house.

It's ultra quiet in here today. It's been determined that the cancer Sharon's mother has been detected in her lymph nodes. I don't have a clue what the process is from this point. In the meantime Sharon's sister is filing for divorce from her freeloading abusive husband. OH MY!!!!!!
The good news is my daughter received the building permit for her building remodel yesterday afternoon. Demolition begins Oct 3rd. I'll be monitoring the progress frequently in addition to the weekly construction meetings.

congrats to your daughter on getting her building permit! this will keep dad busy and out of trouble, i'm thinking?
lymph node involvement. sigh. and a divorce in the offing? who knows what other changes this disease will bring to Sharon's family, wow. i hope some of them will be positive ones. holding you both in my heart....

staying out of trouble ain't so bad.
doubt you'll be hearing from that man, he terminated contact yesterday. i guess i'd already come to terms w/ it, since i'm more pissed than hurt at his "all about me" justification (one more time w/ feeling.) i'm moving on, now. literally.
heading to PA to visit Char&Tom Saturday, then lunch w/ Kittycat&Larry and whoever else Lar has gathered -- Cat and Goldilocks&george and maybe CyberDoug and i think our CWO3Robbie and not sure if there's anyone else or not. I'm just sad that we can't somehow teleport ourselves to join Moosie and belle and that crew 1-1/2 states to the west.

Heading back to the orthopedic surgeon this morning to see if the cortizone shot worked. Might swing by and check out a new antique store that opened too.
Another gorgeous cool day here, we could still use some rain.
Sending good thoughts to you and your family Richard....my Mom had lymph nodes involved during her bout with Breast Cancer, that is a tough one.
