Richard, I'm keeping you all in my thoughts... I hope there's a positive outcome!!

Thank you KC, no news on how the surgery went yet.
ok, gotcha'.  i was hoping.  thanks.
Sharon's mother is out of surgery and in ICU.  The 2 hour procedure was 4.5 hours.  Now we wait for the pathologist's report to know what stage the tumor was in.

Sending good thoughts your way Richard, hope the report comes back with only good news.

Home from the football game...we got the stuffing beat out of us but Kiefer got to go in for ONE play. Whoo hoo and we were done working in the concession stand so we got to see him doing his best.

See you all in the morning.

Saying prayers for Sharon's mother.

Off to the water park with the kids and grandkids.  In the 90s today, with lots of sunshine, but rain for the rest of the weekend.  Y'all have a great day!  I have buddy passes if anyone wants to join me at the Sandbar for a drink!

thanks for the update, Richard.  sigh.  double the time for surgery isn't a good thing, but you already knew that.

RRC, i'm glad you weren't in the concession stand while Kiefer was playing.  that's a good thing!

Cat, have a great day!

where's Robbie?  surely he hasn't melted yet?

and where's our Moosie?  nag, nag....

I hate to whine about the heat after what RRC has been dealing with.  So I won't.  Back from the water park. . . kinda sad. .  last day for me there, until next summer.   Monday a cold front is coming in, so it'll start feeling like fall already.
i'm seeing tinges of red on the dogwood trees here, already.  they're usually the first to turn, but it's 'way too early yet!  unusual weather, everywhere!

Thunderstorms rolled in close by, I could hear them and see the black sky, but  nothing here.  I'm thinking the rest of this weekend is a washout.

Yes Lynn, I've also seen some signs of fall.  And I can smell it in the air.

I'm seeing signs of fall too, Cat and Lynn.  George and I have seen very large flocks of birds on the electric lines or in the air, looks like they are making travel plans.

I felt the change in the air as far back as the day of the meet in Moraine State Park.
