One hit wonders...Oneders... V/S Classic Oldies

Since the "Country V/S Western" thread was such a hit, let's venture down a new path.

I'm old enough to go way back. My folks were great music lovers. My Dad was a bandleader in the USAF during the war. My Mom wanted to be Peggy Lee. I had 4 older sibs and inherited their 45's and box record player.

I was in the hospital when this song was being played constantly...the nurses and orderlies were always humming it. My roomate and I hated the hospital food - we would hide it under our beds and then throw it out the window at night.
