Big Brother 13 is the thirteenth season of the American reality television series Big Brother. It will begin on July 7, 2011 and will air on CBS and Showtime 2, concluding in September 2011 when the winner will be determined. The format of the program will remain largely unchanged from previous seasons; a group of contestants, referred to as HouseGuests, are enclosed in the Big Brother House under the surveillance of cameras and microphones. Each week the HouseGuests voted to evict one of their own until two HouseGuests remained on finale night. The winner will be decided by the last seven evicted HouseGuests, collectively known as the Big Brother Jury. Julie Chen will front the season premiere, evictions and the season finale. The program will include a group of participants, while their fate is decided by their peers. The HouseGuests are competing to win a $500,000 prize with a $50,000 prize offered to the runner up. This season is being promoted as "The Summer of Double Trouble".

Evel Dick is GONE!!! Yes!

 

VERY happy that degenerate moron is gone!! He’s one of the most disgusting people I’ve ever seen on TV or anywhere else for that matter. Nobody should be allowed to treat people the way he treated people in season 8. I was thoroughly disgusted when he won that season and almost decided to never watch another Big Brother. Fortunately, they haven’t had anyone as miserable as him in recent years (although Rachel is terribly irritating). I was about to give up this season the moment I saw him come in the door. Now I will probably watch.

The really big story tonight will be Evel Dick’s departure from the show. CBS released a statement over the weekend but then still continued to tease it on Sunday’s show. Don’t expect too many details though.

BRING HIM BACK! I don’t care if its fair or not. Heck, “Expect the unexpected”. It also wasn’t fair that Chima’s power was usurped by the producers giving Jeff the Coup de tat, ousting Jesse and changing the game, but it happens. So let’s not harp on “Fair” producers, and BRING HIM BACK. (P.S. I don’t like ED but I DO love to hate him).

After Dick and his bedraggled face fled, a number of cataclysmic events occurred. Rachel read off the official rules, stating that because Daniele had no choice in losing her partner, she is granted the first Golden Key and an invitation to the top 10. Unfortunately, his disappearance also ruined the numbers game of the veterans’ authority, placing the majority right in the hands of newbies like Fire Marshall Shelly. Oops! Now the undisclosed personal matters really are personal. Daniele devolved into a fiery pout, and Brendon whinnied in unearthly terror like the horse from The Ring upon hearing of newbie Keith’s satisfaction. Hot hotheads, settle down! You may be in trouble now, but I’m sure the witless amateurs will fumble the lead in due time. That’s what Big Brother is all about. Besides models.

For some reason, Keith gloats about Evel Dick leaving and generally acts like a total fool in his campaign against Porsche, which is entirely unnecessary since everyone else can see with their own two eyes Porsche is working with the veterans and that keeping her would be a mistake. But Keith's lack of stability makes everyone start to question whether keeping him is such a good idea. Here's the short answer: Yes, it is, because in the world of Big Brother, an unstable ally is better than a reasonable enemy.
