it looks like we're winding down, and nobody bothered to open a discussion today, so i thought i'd just set up a thread for this month, and let whoever wanders in, whenever, post to it.  if our moderator wants to do something differently, you'll doubtless hear about it.

after realizing that i didn't need to move to MI, i'm going to Staunton, VA, the last week of this month, and thinking to plant myself there for the rest of my life.  no other roots yet, other than that's the home of the state's premier mental institution, altho' i've never (yet) been there.

the remnants of Independence Day week must be going slowly, since nobody's been here.  

yeah, i don't want to sign off tbd completely, but i realize that facecrack is taking over and all the follow-ons to TBD are slowly fading into oblivion.  still, i'm grateful for the people that Robyn's creation let me connect with, and i am glad to have that facecrack thingee so i don't lose track of my online friends completely.  

if nobody else starts in August, we can just sign off.  i'll be on the road that month.

{{{{Lynn}}}}  I too am sorry to see the group sauntering away from the lodge.  There were some good times weren't there.  I will be finishing up the 4plex project this week so I can cut back to shorter work hours.  I hope the dust doen't get too thick here between people dropping by.

Looks like the summertime is upon us..I remember many slow days through the years on all the variations of TBD. Don't give up on all of us yet. I do spend time on FB but that is because I have friends there that aren't over here. 

The hot steamy days of summer are upon us here and some days at the store I don't have a chance to stop by and visit as much as I want. The times I wasn't working I would hang out here with my friends for hours. LOL

Time to get my kiddo to bed he has weight training again in the morning followed by basketball.

Yes it usually quiets down in the summer.  Between work, kids, and the hot weather I don't know how you can do it RRC.  Stop in when you can.

I don't like facebook much and would really hate to see TBD fade away....when it is hot I have not much energy for anything after work but coming home and plopping down in a chair...and veg

Am leaving a week from Friday but will have my computer so I can sort of keep up

Hi Thally!  The heat can zap even the hardy soul.  I talked to folks who spent the weekend at the beach.  Clear sky and 65-70 degrees.  I hope we get a chance to meet where you are in Oregon.

It's Thur. Morning and I'm in Huntsville, AL on my way to Knoxville, Tennessee. That's almost as much fun to spell as Mississippi, but not quite.

Have fun in Knoxville...the only time I was there it was so hot and humid I almost melted.

I miss our chats too.  Shorter hours start tomorrow.  :)  Not sure for how long though.  My honey do list is growing to epic proportions.
