This is the kinda of stuff being played when I turned 21, and for awhile after. It brings back memories of the dimly lit, smoky, and sometimes volatile bars of my home town. We had a lot of people who had come up from the south to work in the auto factories, and they brought their music with them.

after being exposed to country music as a teen, I was drawn like a moth to a flame to the country bars around town when I came of age.
