Are toupees obsolete yet?
well, yes, but for artistic endeavors, not in the traditional sense.
good one.
LOVE carbon paper!!!!
Miss the smell of the mimeograph (?)...what's the name of the copier thingy we used...ink in a container and hand cranked to make copies? If anyone says "stone & chisel"...I will hunt you down.....:->
Bob, I think you're thinking of a Ditto machine - printed purple.
Jaylee, I remember the Mimeograph machine too.
I learned how to use both machines in high school.
The Mimeograph machine used wax stencils stretched around a drum filled with ink. A typo while preparing those wax stencils was not a good thing!
The Ditto machine used an original image of carbon-like material, and used a solvent to transfer the image to paper. I remember the Ditto copies were purple, and yes, the solvent was smelly!
