Popcorn is like ice cream....gotta have it once in a while.
 Nowadays you can find so many varieties of the micro stuff....chili, extra butter, parmesean, cheddar cheese, lite (sheesh) , kettle, corn-on-the cob!!!!
Tell us your favorite way to make it.   Old fashioned on the stove, Jiffy Pop, air popper.....
What is the other snack you have to have with popcorn.....

I like microwave butter flavored popcorn.....with melted butter poured over it and a glass of tea.
Boring, probably, but that's what I like.
The butter flavor doesn't cut it for you, eh? WTH, just add a little more cholesterol to the cholesterol...
I also eat cholestrol -fighting Honey Nut Cheerios to offset my love afair with butter.
I like microwave butter flavored popcorn the best, too - the one called Homestyle Butter. It's lightly buttery.
George likes the Movie Theater Butter microwave popcorn the best, there is more butter in that one.
We both have diet cola with our popcorn. :-)
I like the Theater Butter too.
Does carmel corn count? Peanuts [ala Cracker Jack] go well with carmel corn :-)
I also recently had Kettle corn for the first time. It was really good, I was surprised.
I pop mine on the stove with a cast iron pot and a heavy lid. Pour it into a bowl that is SPECIFICALLY DESIGNATED AS BEING SOLELY FOR MY CONSUMPTION OF POPCORN AND IS TO SERVE NO OTHER PURPOSE (The fiancee has a habit of "decorating" by seizing any unoccupied vessel and stuffing it with flowers, sticks, ribbons and glittery crap), drizzle it with some melted butter and, depending on my mood, sprinkle it with sea salt, or Thai seasonings, or Cajun seasonings or some dried oregano, basil, powdered garlic and ground-up sun-dried tomato.
Homemade from scratch on the stove is truly the best. I like the 'odd' toppings you choose Snagg. I will look around my spice cupboard and see what I can come up with.
In helping my cholesterol level creep ever upward I used to put fresh grated cheddar cheese and real melted butter AND real salt on a bowl of popcorn...nuke it for a few seconds....wonderfully good!

Today I go with the butter flavored microwave stuff.
Not quite as fun as the old stove top jiffy pop I enjoyed as a kid.
Expanding paper just isn't the same a the rising foil, and not as easily observed...
I used the trusty air popper up until fairly recently....now I've got lazy, and microwave the buttery kind. I don't eat that much popcorn any more....maybe I should start up again.
Cheap and lots of fiber...especially if you eat the "old maids" at the bottom of the bowl!
