TBD

TBD on Ning

If you've never seen Big Brother, the basic premise is that 13 contestants live together in a house  where their every move is caught 24/7 by one of the many cameras and microphones placed throughout the house. The houseguests will compete in random competitions , eat a bit of slop and vote one another out. The last person standing come September wins $500,000.
As far as twists go (and you knew there'd be one, right?) will feature a secret saboteur. And the planted houseguest will receive his or her directions directly from the audience. The secret saboteur will be revealed to fans during the first live show on July 15th, but the houseguests will be left in the dark. This years guests are as follows:

Rachel, age 26- cocktail waitress
Kristen, age 24- boutique manager
Britney, age 22- hotel sales manager
Monet, age 24- model
Hayden, snowboarder, baseball player
Brendan, age 30- high school swim coach
Andrew, age 39- podiatrist, Orthodox Jew
Enzo, age 32- insurance adjuster (married)
Kathy , age 40, deputy sheriff
Annie, age 27- bartender
Matt, age 32, web designer
Lane, 24- oil rig salesman
Ragan, age 34- bow-tie wearing college professor

At this point, I can't see Hayden losing. He is obviously the strongest player remaining and I don't think Lane has proved that he can beat him head to head.
Was it just me, or was Matt still trying to seduce Ragan and flirt with him in the jury house. But I did enjoy Matt's little onesie....children's size of course.
There was the most boring clip-reel of a recap show I’ve seen in a long time. Over lobster, bubbly, and, as the Meow Meow called it, see-zuh salad...

I don’t want Lane to win. He’s slowly grated on my bone, plus he’s no Jeff, Kaysar, or Howie. Lane has done the least of the three dudes in getting them to the end, because even Hayden was the one whose deception motivated Britney to backdoor Matt the week she was HoH. At least Enzo formed the Brigade and aggressively targeted his targets. I can't believe I said that...
I don’t care who wins…actually I wish they could tell them that no one wins this season. Anyhow, as long as it is not Lane. He is disgusting. Did a woman actually have a hand in raising this creep? He actually was bragging about playing the “8 second” game, and wants someone to play it on Enzo’s daughter?! He is a sicko. BTW, they have started cutting the feeds a few weeks ago to force us to the tv show, so buyer beware for next season. They need to do a better job all around for this show to remain on air. I am not surprised the ratings have been good considering the antics they have pulled with feeds. Also, if you do not get the feeds; do not believe the crap they are feeding you about these three…they are all sick in the head…especially Lane!
I could care less who wins as well!!!

But I voted for Andrew (Cap'n Kosher!! He was too funny with his speech!!) and Brendan (just to piss people off!!!) I'd be real surprised if it's Ragan or Rachel. I hope it's neither!
This is the first full season of BB I've watched. it's been mostly interesting but each person has gotten on my nerves at one time or another. Out of the 3 left I would rather see Hayden win, at least he has won some competitions and worked on getting people out. My second choice would be Enzo. I along with the what seems most people, don't think Lane really did anything and really hope he doesn't win.

the one image I'll be stuck with from this season the most is Kristen in her rainbowtard :)
Well Rush, he did win, and by one vote!

And I agree, Enzo would have been my second choice as well. But glad it's over! And now....Survivor...
Enzo's ego was rampaging out of control last night. His insistence that The Brigade was his idea and that being ousted from it made him some sort of pariah was beyond confusing to me. He acted as if suggesting an alliance and handing out nicknames somehow gave him immunity from eviction.

In addition, Annie's assertion that Enzo played the best social game, pulling the house guest strings without them ever realizing it, made me wonder if she was watching the same show the rest of us were.

When Julie showed Britney the Diary Room footage of Lane lamenting her ouster, I thought it was hilarious. Yeah, Lane was sorry to see you go, Britney because he was convinced he could beat you in the final two! Did you notice she started to tear up? Is anyone else thinking she's going to ditch her fiance in a couple of months after this?

Matt revealing his lie to Britney in the Jury House reinforced my suspicions that he's a total sociopath. When Britney said, "That's really bad" and Matt's reply was "So I've been told," I wanted to reach through the screen and choke him. The little creep is completely remorseless.

I also felt sorry for Ragan, who was trying to be the bigger person after last week only to have his esteem of Matt drop further after he learned he was completely disposable to him. I think Ragan's despondency actually had less to do with Matt's betrayal and more to do with Ragan finally realizing he's a shitty judge of character.

The Jury arguing the merits of Hayden, Lane and Enzo's social game was infuriating to me - as it basically confirms what the rest of us already know... that this season was BORING. If all you can talk about is how well you got along with everyone else, then there's something wrong with the formula. I agreed with Ragan that social niceties are not a requirement for winning Big Brother, despite Britney's eye-rolling.

Most confusing to me was Rachel's statement as she locked in her vote to win saying she voted for the person with the best social game. Really? This was the person who told floaters to "grab their life vests" and insisted that everyone raise their game in competitions. Seemed like a complete 180 to me.

Of course, Brendon sharing that he voted in alignment with Rachel shows he has no balls.

When it was all said and done, I'm glad Hayden won the $500,000. I found him a bit dim and uninteresting, but he didn't disgust me, either. It sounds like faint praise, but when you consider some of the truly HORRIBLE people that have won Big Brother in the past, having someone as vanilla as Hayden win the big prize doesn't seem so bad.

BTW - Did anyone notice Rachel roll her eyes at Britney during the credits, right after she won the $25,000 prize. I wish I had a screen capture of that!
Rachel was lying when she said she was voting for the person who had the best social game- Lane really didn't interact with her and Brendon that much. It was a vote against Hayden and not for Lane, out of spite (for getting her out and because she still can't get over the Kristen/Hayden showmance- she wanted to have the only one). Brendon's vote was the one that made me shake my head- I thought he would be the better man and vote for the better player; instead it seems he too voted out of sheer spite against Hayden.

Enzo was probably going to vote for Hayden no matter what- he just seemed to be more friendly with him than with Lane. Brit made a good case for Lane when the jury was talking about everyone- but Ragan made a better case against him. If he hadn't been there? I think Lane might have pulled it off.
What? No mention of Julie putting all of the keys on one side? She really preps for finale night!

Matt still doesn't recognize his biggest mistake wasn't throwing the HOH. It was not flipping on the Brigade once he realized he was 4th. Hayden would have been gone that week. We missed out on great drama if that was how it unfolded because Matt/Ragan, Britney/Lane and perhaps even a genuine Enzo/Brendon partnership would have made for great game play down the stretch.

At least Survivor has started and we will forget about these people inside of a week...
