Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

Lobster-Fest fund raiser tonight at the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. 60 bucks a pop! I bought a ticket...what was I thinking????

It was a nice event....I wish I had taken my camera. I saw several folks with whom I worked back in the day, restoring and running the lighthouse in its early museum days.

Will you settle for Red Lobster?

The Lighthouse Foundation, never one to miss a trick, had Grand Traverse Lighthouse wine in the silent auction tonight, complete in a special decorative bottle.

Splurging tonite with filet mignon on the grill. Seasoned and marinated for 2 days. Blackened on the outside, and just shy of mooing on the inside. Baked tater for the wife, and veggies for me.

Burnt sweet potato fries and charred fish fillets. Didn't hear the oven timer go off.
