Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera). A bass guitarist for garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams...literally. Animal Kingdom - Welcome to the Melbourne underworld. Following the death of his mother, seventeen year–old Joshua 'J' Cody (newcomer James Frecheville) moves in with his hitherto–estranged family, under the watchful eye of his doting grandmother, Janine 'Smurf' Cody (Jacki Weaver), and her three criminal sons – the Cody boys. Eldest son and armed robber, Andrew 'Pope' Cody (Ben Mendelsohn) is in hiding from a gang of renegade detectives. Middle brother Craig (Sullivan Stapleton) is a successful but volatile drug dealer, whilst the youngest Cody, Darren (Luke Ford), naïvely follows his elder brothers' lead. Just as 'Pope's' business partner and best friend, Barry Brown (Joel Edgerton), decides that he wants out of the game, recognising that their days of old–school banditry are all but over, tensions between the family and the police explode. Peepli Live - After losing their plot of land over an unpaid government loan, Natha and Budhia, two brothers and farmers residing in the heart of rural India, seek the help of a local politician. Not concerned with their plight, the politician mockingly suggests that the brothers commit suicide to benefit from a government scheme that aids the families of indebted farmers who have killed themselves. Budhia, the shrewder of the two, immediately encourages Natha, a simpleton by nature, to think of the greater good of their family and do what is necessary. After their drunken conversation in a bar is overheard by a journalist, the next day it appears in a local newspaper under the header “A Death Foretold in Peepli Village.” The article sparks a chain of events that reaches the highest corridors of power in India’s political machinery. With elections around the corner what would otherwise have been common fare turns into a ‘cause célèbre’ with everybody wanting a piece of the action. From the glitzy television studios in New Delhi to the Agricultural Ministry, journalists, newsmen, local and national politicians descend upon the little village to stake their claim. The question on everyone’s lips is, “Will he or won’t he?” As the circus propagates itself, what will be the fate of poor farmer Natha who nobody stops to ask how he really feels?

Mesrine: Killer Instinct - Continuing France's love affair with the American gangster movie, "Mesrine: A Film in Two Parts" (formerly known as "Public Enemy Number One") tells the true story
of Jacques Mesrine who became his country's most notorious "bad guy" throughout the 1970's. Arch-fiend to some and folk hero to others, Mesrine's criminal career spanned nearly two decades of brazen bank robberies, breathtaking prison breaks, and ingenious identity changes – all meticulously and stylishly recreated on an epic scale. Vincent Cassel ("Eastern Promises," "Ocean's 12"), one of France's most magnetic leading men, heads a heavyweight cast (including Oscar-nominee Gerard Depardieu) and gives a star-making performance as Mesrine.
The Horde - Directed by Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher, this French zombie movie follows a posse of crooked cops, malevolent gangsters and a horde of walking dead through an action packed story of escape and revenge. A hit at the Venice Film Festival, London’s FrightFest Film Festival and at this year’s COLCOA (City of Lights City of Angels), the film will premiere in theaters and on VOD under the IFC Midnight label beginning in August.
