If you've never seen Big Brother, the basic premise is that 13 contestants live together in a house  where their every move is caught 24/7 by one of the many cameras and microphones placed throughout the house. The houseguests will compete in random competitions , eat a bit of slop and vote one another out. The last person standing come September wins $500,000.
As far as twists go (and you knew there'd be one, right?) will feature a secret saboteur. And the planted houseguest will receive his or her directions directly from the audience. The secret saboteur will be revealed to fans during the first live show on July 15th, but the houseguests will be left in the dark. This years guests are as follows:

Rachel, age 26- cocktail waitress
Kristen, age 24- boutique manager
Britney, age 22- hotel sales manager
Monet, age 24- model
Hayden, snowboarder, baseball player
Brendan, age 30- high school swim coach
Andrew, age 39- podiatrist, Orthodox Jew
Enzo, age 32- insurance adjuster (married)
Kathy , age 40, deputy sheriff
Annie, age 27- bartender
Matt, age 32, web designer
Lane, 24- oil rig salesman
Ragan, age 34- bow-tie wearing college professor

Britney's trash-talking in the Diary Room contrasted against her crying session in the Have-Not room revealed the enormity of her insecurity. Their assertion that Rachel putting them on the block was personal because she was jealous of them was Grade-A denial.

Rachel is quickly becoming one of the most annoying and frustratingly stupid HGs ever. It's reached the point where I enjoy other HGs I would normally hate based solely on how much they mock Rachel.

[Assassin]

Matt is a snake and needs to go. I compared him to Ronnie of last season yesterday. Now that I’ve seen yesterday’s show, he's Ronnie and Johnny Fairplay rolled up into one. HOPEFULLY after that rat is exterminated today.

I laughed so hard after the HOH comp. I really liked Monet but since Rachel and Brendon did such a stupid move to get her out because of Rachel not liking Monet because she did kiss her butt now her or Brendon will go home this week. I find it interesting. What a waste her HOH was she should have targeted one of the guys but no she had to get a girl out. Now she will feel the pain that she put Monet through. And what was her so called big goodbye message. If she thinks that his parents will like her she is wrong. I wish my son would bring someone like her home for me to meet he would be toast and he knows it. I guess their little soft porn show is over. Thank goodness!

Well Assassin, looks like your nightmare has come true! Matt is the new HoH. I think he will nominate Kathy and Andrew with the intention of backdooring Brendon. Matt needs to put up BRachel to guarantee that one of them go home.

Oops Felicia! Spoiler Alert!!!! This info didn't air yet, but I'm letting it slide because I know a lot of people who have the live feeds and read the spoilers for this show. Happens all the time! Personally I like to read the spoilers than watch them on the feeds or SHO.
Now, unfortunately, putting both Brendon and Rachel up won’t secure their demise as a couple considering that was tried the very first week. Nakomis’ Six-Finger Plan is pretty decent for backdooring and all Matt/Brigade has to hope for is that Brenchel doesn’t get to compete in the Veto Comp. If that happens, and the odds are in Brigade’s favor, then whoever wins it will use the Veto and clear the path for Matt to renom Brendon. From there it’s a cake walk to Brendon’s eviction on Thursday.

I hate Matt. He rubs me the wrong way. You don’t lie about something as serious as your wife being that sick. That is just bad karma. I didn’t want him to win HOH. But this may get interesting. It is totally obvious that they want Brendan/Rachel out. I can tolerate Brendan, but Rachel is completely annoying. Too bad it can't be a double elim...

I think the Brigade still holds the power in the house based solely on numbers, but Rachel and Brendon could prove to be a powerful alliance. I mean, both are strong, both are bright, and if they stick together they might make a run at this. On the other side of the spectrum is Britney. Miss Arkansas could be in serious trouble depending on who snags this week’s HOH — or maybe she’ll adopt Monet’s advice and partner up with Rachel.
The Brigade is holding up for now, but Matt is clearly the weakest link and Enzo/Hayden needs to make the effort to reach out to Kristen (who’s showmancing with Hayden) or Regan (who seems to be buddies with Matt) to secure them in their voting block before it’s too late.

Let’s just hope someone uses the veto this week and Boobs McVegas gets sent back to the chem lab from which she came.

Soon as they started talking about Hayden I knew it would be seconds before Meow Meow dragged out “bros before hos”.

I think it’s smart but then again.. dumb. Kathy is just Kathy.. but Andrew is hilarious. Hopefully someone will take one of them off the block, and Matt can put McVegas on the block and she’ll be voted out. She could’ve gotten Matt out last week. But instead she wasted her week on getting Monet out. Not that I was a huge fan of Monet, but Rachel could’ve got a better competitor out. Plus I like how Brittany and Monet made fun of everyone.

Things never work out the way you plan, and Big Brother 12 learned that the hard way this week when the plan to backdoor Brendon blew up in the HGs' faces. Luckily, like every disaster movie, Big Brother has comic relief in the forms of Andrew, who delivered the most hilariously awful and unconvincing speech in Big Brother history.

Andrew, (lovingly nicknamed Captain Kosher due to his Orthodox Judaism), goes even more psycho than usual following his nomination. He's a one-man cleaning machine, and the saddest part is that he wants desperately to be Brendon's BFF. He thinks they should be an alliance, but there are two huge things standing in his way: Rachel.

Andrew is the third wheel, or at least he wishes he was. However, he has no shot at making that friendship work unless Rachel is gone, because she is a total succubus.
