There was SO MUCH MORE I coulda played tonite...But, I must adhere to the rigidly structured parameters and scheduling of this high-tech "Radio" thingamajig. New station manager and all, and I about gave her a heart attack last week, and my dumb ass is usually hanging on here by a mere thread anyway, soooooo....

It was an interesting contrast of facetious "holidays" today - It's both "National Fortune Cookie Day" and "Defy Superstition Day" - So I was was going to play both Los Straitjacket's "Fortune Cookie" and Howlin' Wolf's "I Ain't Superstitious", because I'm, you know, just that literal about things like that. But, hey...There You Go...

Ah, Well....Next year...

"Sorry folks, if you'd been brave you could have heard Anthony Newley's Greatest Hits remastered." (Snagg speaking)
Comment by Quinn on September 13, 2009 at 5:49pm

Comment by Snagg on September 13, 2009 at 5:39pm
Nope, I NEVER reveal what the Mystery Album is...Until it goes in.

(That would, I suppose, apply to a LOT of solutions regarding "Mysterious" whatevers, now wouldn't it ?)

Nope, never in hell....Ya buy yer ticket, ya takes yer chances...
Comment by Ubu on September 13, 2009 at 5:31pm
Have you ever revealed what the Mystery Album is? Dare we ask?
Comment by Ubu on September 13, 2009 at 4:53pm
The only one you need to know is Yo La Tengo. Now go vote.

Mel, if I get in trouble for the Patti and Replacements tunes...I'm tellin' 'em it was YOUR idea.
