Patrick Swayze Dead at 57 After Chemotherapy for Pancreatic Cancer -- by Mike Adams

Beloved actor Patrick Swayze died yesterday evening after a 20-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Having put his faith in conventional chemotherapy, he largely dismissed ideas that nutrition, superfoods or "alternative medicine" might save him, instead betting his life on the chemotherapy approach which seeks to poison the body into a state of remission instead of nourishing it into a state of health.
These are not condemnations of this remarkable man; they are simply descriptive explanations of the path he chose and the results he experienced. Patrick Swayze was a talented, dedicated actor and dancer, and his work brought joy to the lives of millions. He will be deeply missed, and in his death, he joins many other celebrities who have been recently killed by pharmaceuticals or chemotherapy.

Protecting yourself from cancer most definitely involves a change in your day-to-day choices about where you live, how you live and what you consume. There is no doctor in the world who can take cancer out of your body for any significant duration if you continue to live a cancer-causing lifestyle. That's why chemo just flat out doesn't work: Because it doesn't address the causes of cancer. So it can never offer a cure.

Only you can do that.

OC's Comment: We respect the opinion of Mike Adams, and he raises some interesting points in this article. Many times, cancer patients wait months or years after diagnosis and rounds of treatment prior to seeking and/or making any high quality life style choices -- if they ever make any lifestyle improvements at all.

The best way to prevent disease is to make daily adjustments to include high quality nutritional and other lifestyle choices.

Did Patrick Swayze smoke even after his cancer diagnosis -- do you know?
Comment by OCNaturalDoc on September 15, 2009 at 11:38am
she probably doesn't smoke, either. mr swayze was a big smoker, which sets off a chain of inflammatory responses throughout the body, excellerates disease and inhibits healing.

My 27 year old niece is taking chemo for breast cancer. Fortunately, she hasn't suffered the severe ravages that some people experience. She's done a lot of studying of nutritional programs designed for cancer patients and is following a nutritional program; she also exercises. Her oncologist doesn't want her to take any herbal remedies while on chemo. She has a positive outlook, which is very important.
