On Jan. 26, 1969, Prague police broke up a peaceful march honoring Jan Palach, who 10 days earlier had set himself on fire to protest the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia.

When I look back I had tons of homeless paradise moments...We used to roam the cities seeking out refuges people knew little about (too busy with their own lives to notice). Some of the most beautiful spots were near the railroad tracks...We'd bring the radio & dance & play & no-one knew we were there...It felt like freedom.

Maybe we can make the Safari thing a reality someday..That would be fun.......I can dig the skirt thing...LOL...I was thinking I would have to go behind a tree butt naked...LOL

Comment by caseyjo on January 29, 2011 at 9:42pm: I am always asking people what they did on the week-end, not jealous of others good fortune....I am always happy for my friends when they get new toys or go someplace nice.....I have had a very interesting life on earth & have nothing much to complain about.....Not even my homless experience which I consider to be of great value to me...I want to go on a African safari, but do they have a ladies room out there?
