Rain

New TOWD, to be.

Well we're not really on the road. I mean who would be on the road in this area this morning. Its Saturday about 1000 hours here in East Texas. Guess what? Its raining. Its raining and the wind is blowing. I've taken Happy (the dog) out to walk. I dried him off with a towel. But you can't really ever get a wet Goldendoodle dry. His coat holds about 2 gal of water. So now he is sitting on the couch pouting and looking out the window. He's looking for squirrels, or cats. Or maybe silently singing the dog version of Rain, Rain, Go Away. Who knows. But, the inside of the RV now smells like wet dog. Every used RV you ever see advertised says "No pets or ever Smoked in". Since I don't like lying, well maybe there was that one time I didn't go back and pick up the dog poop after Happy had done his business and I realized that I forgot to bring a bag, but that shouldn't count cause it was way out in the middle of a field and, I mean, what were the chances that somebody would pick that one little spot to place their foot? and if they did, They would probably be a dog owner who never picks up dog poop and that would serve them right. Right? I guess trying to sell this RV would be an exercise in frustration. May I'll just leave it to my ex when I die.

I went down to Houston a couple days ago and picked up the used Jeep Liberty that I am going to make a Towd. But with Thanksgiving coming up I'm having trouble getting the parts and modifcations to it done. So, guess I'll still be here come December.Oh well, there are benefits to being in this area. I mean. Shoot, its only about 60 mi to Cut and Shoot. And about 40 mi to the biggest statue of Sam Houston ever conceived. There is no place to get off the Interstate and take a picture of it. But, believe me. It is a monstrosity. It is kind of scary. Driving down the interstate enjoying the beautiful East Texas(that's for all the East Texans reading this)countryside and here comes the biggest white man ever seen. And I do mean "WHITE". Towering over the highway. What the hell is that? Oh! Its Sam Houston. What's he doing this far away from the town named for him? Anyway, looks like we'll be here for a while. I think that may be a good thing.
DISCLAIMER!!! If KarenSme reads this, I apoligize. I know this should have been in your BORING thread but I was lazy.
