Not So Long Ago, but the hate remains

I cry everytime I hear this song. The graphics made my heart wrench with sadness. Thank God someone of President Carter's stature in politics finally spoke up about the underlying racism at these tea party and town hall meetings. I'm appalled at these antics. I'm worried for President Obama and for the country. Maybe President Carter's remarks will help quell the rhetoric and hatefulness of those talk show hosts (radio & TV). That would help some. But I think the only way we'd get them to shut up is with their advertiser's pulling out. It seems that's all they care about($$$). It's certainly not the country or the people.
