Dusting and watching old DVDs

I started my binge of Stargate:SG1 yesterday; first the 'good' device wouldn't accept 1 dvd, so I switched to the older Player. Guess what: first disk was great, 2nd was 'glitchy'. So that went into the trash.  There were 214 episodes over the 10 yrs of the Stargate series, so even though I didn't keep 'all', just the ones I have is a big stack!!   Then, I realized....I still have my 17 in. laptop--wih the DVD record/player--so I can always switch to that & use an HDMI cable to put it on my large tv screen. But won't bother right now!   

 I've got a good part of 'dusting' done in this room but still have the 2 bookcases to do today. With my allergy, I use a wet paper towel to minimize 'flying dust', lol. 

Ha: I was dumb enough to sit on the  floor yesterday while sorting several stacks of DVDs (in the tv cabinet where half of them are stored). Sigh. For a minute, I thought I wasn't going to be able to get up!!  Took some effort, but I finally managed.  Won't do that again!!  I decided to NOT put any stacks back so far that I couldn't get to them without sitting.  Sigh...I'm getting too old for this, lol... 

I hope everyone is having a good day. It's cloudy & about 75 here...sure is nice to have open windows!!
