Picnics, parties, pyrotechnics,
Red, white, and blue
on me, on you
on napkins, and pinwheels too...
Festivities and fun
In all the bustle of the fanfare
Have we forgotten how it all begun?
On the fourth of July, America was born
when our ties to England were torn
We declared our independence
Land of the Free
Where all men are created equal
Proclaiming Life and Liberty
with the pursuit of Happiness
an unalienable right
To redeclare our freedom
Each year
fireworks light the night
To spark our country's spirit
Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all
Patriots stand proud, Americans stand tall
Through ups and downs since 1776
Despite the countless problems yet to fix
Our flag flies with grace
We are still America the Beautiful
Land of the Free, Home of the Brave
Happy, happy birthday
to the good ol' USA
