CHRISTMAS NEAR TEXARKANA TEXAS.

My wife was originally from San Angelo, Texas. In 1984 we were living in Harpers Ferry, WV. 1984 was one of the coldest winters I have experienced in my long life. Creature Comforts

I was without power and heat for 40 hours. I know there are others in my area that are still without it because I just got back from the make shift shelter at the volunteer firehouse. It was so great to get a hot meal, share some laugher about the situation with others in the same situation.

I never thought I would ever go to a shelter, but when I heard about it my mind was made up. I had to wipe some tears away from my son. He wanted to wait it out at home. But one day…
