About Me:: I am a retired teacher of the deaf and am deaf myself. I've taught every subject and had to even had to teach a high school chemistry class. Believe me, that is hard if you, as the teacher, never took HS. chemistry. I had to teach myself first. TOUGH but challenging. I love to read. Can't stress how much. Want an idea of how much? Momma used to tell me when I was a kid to take my nose out of the book and go play. 🤣 I love to quip and pun on words. Most of the time, punning on words is intentional, but not always. writing and making graphics is a enjoyable along with old movies and programs. I have no love for violent scenes or explicit love scenes. Leave it to the imagination, says Judy.

Both of mine (desktop & laptop) have 8GB RAM. Fast enough for me, even when I'm doing 'games'. Cloudeight (and me) recommend at least 8GB of RAM. That's the main important thing to look at when buying a new computer, laptop or desktop.

If I could ever afford another one, I'd get 12GB of RAm. But my daughter gave me the new desktop about 6 months ago (f/when I feel the need and can afford it, I might add RAM. It's a lot easier to add to a desktop. I have a slow laptop (4GB RAM) but can't get it open to add any lol. So it's in the closet! Ha: I still mainly use this laptop, cause it's next to my rocker! I doubt I will ever get/can afford another new computer. I'm lucky she gave me this one a few years ago. Used, not new, lol. When she upgrades, she gives the old one to me, ha.
