I was so tired last night and left four writers here
when I woke up there were
eight more...we are mushrooming
I do think we also could post some of our favorite poems or short stories written by others but we must give credit to the writer
one of my favorite poets is Carl Sandberg
but
recently I was introduced to the writings of Rod McKuen
and I can't get enough of his poetry
ICE~MAN you use whatever nom de plume you want
i will continue to think of you as my friend Graham
I just love fresh chicken eggs
my daughter used to raise chickens and pheasants ( they were all released )
I would help her keep her hen house clean and tidy but asked her please to put those chickens in the chicken yard while I was helping her...the 4 roosters we ate making a delightful soup...it stands to reason if you peck me for no reason then you become a delightful soup! The hens did not miss the roosters
Thank you for the link Lynn
he is quite a poet and writer
I really enjoyed his story
Finding My Father
Goldilocks46 you are welcome
i am just about to ask santa
to start letting my internet
pass through and stay longer
so I can read all these comments
without rebooting....tis cloudy
here in the Yakima valley
Thank you for the invite, Julia!
Lorikeets.......very noisy. I get them and other parrots to feed but not all year long. They stay pretty much in the mountains until they migrate looking for ripe fruit.
I do have 12 hens and 2 roosters though.
Hedy
