Thanks, your right. I explained to Jan why I did use Word. It is My Library on my computer, and I add Photos when the opportunity exists. I print them out on 8.5 x 5.5 Cardstock and file them. I'll work on that conversion process, though. Good suggestion... Thanks Ex.

Understand it is much easier to add the photos if it is a word document.. I use to love Meal Master which was a DOS based recipe program. Many many large collections of recipes on the web using it. However newer WindowsXP will not run it so had to finally convert to another. I am using Now Your Cooking. A little harder to use than meal Master but does the job. I have to export each recipe to a file then open in Notepad. I copy and paste here. Not the easiest route.

My ex has a DVD called "Million Recipes," and it is so cool! Just pop it in the computer and voila! you have a little over 1,00,000 recipes in every category imanginable.

It should be fairly easy to convert your files to .pdf files. And just about everybody can view those in Adobe Reader. Most everyone has Adobe reader on their system because it is free. But if anyone is using a Mac and doesn't have Word loaded (I don't), I was able to open your Word files with Mac's free Text Edit program.
