You Will Need:
* 1 chicken fryer cut-up * 1 bottle Russian dressing * 1 jar apricot preserves * 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
* 1 large mixing bowl * 1 wooden stirring spoon * 1 serving spoon * 1 9"x13" pan * heavier foil
Preheat Oven to 350 F:
* In large mixing bowl, with wooden stirring spoon, thoroughly mix together apricot preserves, Russian dressing, onion soup mix
Wash And Dry Chicken: * place chicken in pan, skin side up. With serving spoon completely cover chicken with sauce, cover pan with foil, a little loosely, but completely.
Place In Oven For 1 Hour: * remove pan from oven, remove foil. With serving spoon pour sauce over the chicken a few times, return to oven uncovered to brown, 20-30 minutes. Continue spooning sauce over chicken to keep it moist as needed.
