Our members are thoughtful individuals from different states,
backgrounds, and walks of life, who are looking for a meaningful
way to communicate/converse in an informal, rambling environment.

=-( I am disappointed right now. My daughter got her rejection letter from my alma mater, Barnard College-Columbia University today. I had a wonderful education there and had wished the same for her. (Sigh) They claim to have a record number of applicants this year.

Words plucked out of the air
some forty years ago
when I was wild with love
and torn almost in two
scatter like leaves this night
of whistling wind and rain.

Outdoors all afternoon
under a gunmetal sky
