etc. Traditionally, metaphysicsrefers to the branch of philosophy that attempts to understand the fundamental nature of all reality,
whether visible or invisible. It seeks a description so basic, so essentially simple, so all-inclusive that it applies to everything, whether divine or human or anything else. It attempts to tell what anything must be like in order to be at all.
Personally, I have never seen any strange metaphysical happenings in person. I think, if I ever do, it will change my thinking...kind of like if I see a flying saucer landing out here in the middle of our banana grove here in the Philippines..I will certainly start believing in UFO's. In the meantime...I remain skeptical. I do know that in places like Indonesia, China, and certain other areas...there are events that happen that defy common logic and natural laws. Why? Dunno.... hmmmmm Steven, you are in the PHILIPPINES, land of superstitious beliefs. You have NEVER experienced, encountered something strange???????
How about your wife? Ask her. The only time I've ever seen a ghost was in the Philippines in broad light too. I'll never forget the experience. When I inquired afterwards, I was told people who visited the house had the same experience. I had no knowledge of it before.
Besides, metaphysics doesn't have to mean strange. I'm sure you believe in the value of prayer and perhaps even Yoga.
