David Mason died about 2 weeks ago.

I'm sure he gave you goosebumps, or made you happy, or made you sing out loud.

He was the trumpet player that played the wonderful solo in the song "Penny Lane" by the Beatles.

I was in college and other than that I don't know. Probably drinking beer. I think I always liked that song.

Awe....I remember the solo in my mind like it was yesterday hearing it for the first time...I dont have to listen to the video
I didn't either.  I remember darkened dorm rooms with candles going.  Yes, probably having a little buzz going on.
I remember styrofoam painted neon balls & black lights w/ low tables & pillows on the floor....

Lava lamp?

I have a lava lamp Faye...I also have a old poster of a volks wagon Bus painted psychedelic & floating through the sky...Picked them up about 10 years ago on a whim.
I have one of those bobbing birds that drinks.
Oh mygoodness...I want one..where did you get it?
I got it off the internet somewhere.  I'll see if I can find the site.
