Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

George and I went to the Olde Country Buffet for supper today.

It was Wednesday so we had breakfast for dinner at Shoney's. Caleb saw one of his old teacher's aides and they talked for a long time. Then as we were walking out the door two of our good friends were coming in. We went back and sat with them while they ate. Having  real adults to talk to for a while is something I really need sometimes.

Faye, I think you DID polish off that bottle of wine. He had BREAKFAST for dinner.

I pick up on this b/c I'm envious every time I read it. I love breakfast for dinner.

I might just make that tonight.

oh. I forgot. I made dinner for tonight last night. Chicken, brown rice & mashed cauliflower.

That's not NEARLY as appetizing as breakfast for dinner!

I can't eat re-heated chicken, it has a funny taste that I don't like.

Well........I had left over potatoe salad, left over beans and a new chicken breast seasoned and oven baked.

What's wrong with left overs anyway??

Bob... it's Quinn that said that. She thinks chicken tastes funny if it's reheated.

Leftovers are fine, I just don't like how reheated chicken tastes.
