Name something you've never had a desire to own...something tangible that maybe most all your friends wanted or had, but you didn't. Heart attacks and the mange don't count.

As for me, I have never had the desire for a boat or a motorcycle.

A bowling ball

Credit card debt

 

Skiing? Bob, you have to try it sometime, it's amazing! I don't ski nearly as much as I used to and it makes me sad sometimes :(

Thong panties--too much like the ill-fitting underpants of my childhood.

Experiences requiring breathing apparatus--plain old breathing challenge enough for too long.

Cosmetic surgery--no unnecessary cutting, please.

Diamond jewelry--I've studied marketing.

No cosmetic surgery for me either Baia!  I'm afraid of needles.

I've never wanted a motorcycle.  Or a trip to Las Vegas.  

So far, I haven't wanted a Smart Phone or anything like it.  I have the old fashioned flip cell phone, and I rarely use that.

No Smart Phone for me either....the flip phone I've got is already smarter than me.

I took pictures using my cell phone yesterday of some filming of the new Batman movie.  Problem is, I don't know how to get them off, and even if I can.  .  It's just a flip phone.  No internet.  Doesn't really matter, I don't think I'll ever need those pictures.

I don't want a smart phone either but it appears they can be useful. Two weeks ago when we were headed to Hilton Head my daughter couldn't get the head rest on her side of the car to go down. She googled a discussion group from her I-phone and found out how to get it down. Of course I could have just left it up.

Most of the ones that come to mind for me have already been covered here, but I'll claim them for myself anyway-

- a swimming pool

- diamonds

- going to Las Vegas

- a deep tan

- big yard - had those, multiple times, I'm done w/that desire

- an execuhome, or any very large, pretentious house

- large breasts - I know, some ppl will think that's crazy, but large breasts just don't do it for me. My medium ones are just fine, tyvm.
