STATUS UPDATE

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

 

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

You guys.... Jaylee, Bob, DD.... warm my heart w/your reminiscenses & wishes about your mothers.

I was never close to my mother, & haven't lived w/her since I was 13 years old. However, I am an only child & she is an only child, so when she became debilitated by a stroke about 5 years ago, I became her caregiver. She lives in a nursing home very near me & I tend to her needs, but not nearly as much as I could. I spent the afternoon w/her today.

I'm going to visit her again tomorrow, and as a token of my feelings for you guys, may I please, to honor you & your mothers, bring her simple flowers, and brush her hair, and give her a kiss? I will do it w/intent. And maybe get a pic.

My status is I spent the day with Kainsworth and her lovely daughter. We had a wonderful day touring Colonial Williamsburg, eating good food and enjoying the sunshine. I have pictures but I can't upload them yet.
