You have GOT to be kidding, Randy!
Hello there Rita!
Hi Stir! I have been known to be a "calculating" woman but not often! LOL
I can calculate that this is way above my ability to calculate, although I usually tend to be a calculating dude.
I can't calculate, but I know how to Google.
Nawww.......it's 127.347829500082and a half.
Definitely 42 Quinn.
42 was the original name of the town where I live. It was founded during the Civil War by Northern troops who were building a railroad from Nashville to Memphis. It was 42 miles from Nashville. Strange but today it is only 36 miles from Nashville. This was a construction depot. After the war they changed it to Sneedsville but nobody liked that name because it sounded funny. So in 1890 they changed the name to Dickson, same as the county.
I know many of you are really excited to here the history of Dickson, TN.
Pickle - I have family in Hohenwald. I think it's not too far from Dickson. (Maybe we've talked about this before.)
Hohenwald is not far from here as the crow flies but I can't fly so I have to take a round about way to get there. I used to teach extension graduate classes to teachers at Lewis Co. High and I took the Natchez Trace Parkway. It is not the most direct route but it sure is the prettiest.
