Morning all, rainy day here in ND suppose to stay all week-end. Guess it's indoor activities for this girl. Have a great week-end all, the food looks awesome Cat. Good luck with the inspection Lynn.
It's the weekend but I still have to work....boo hoo. The house is still quiet and I hate having to get up and wake them all up.
Happy travels, Lynne Anne!
Good morning!  Nice to see so many of you up and alive this morning.  It rained a little over night after a wonderful summer-like day yesterday.  What ever you do today have a good time doing it ya hear?

Good morning all

(((((((((((((((((((hugs to all)))))))))))))))))))))))

Am sitting here thinking of the things I want to do today and am coming up shorthanded...

Am pushing my trip to Oregon up a couple of months...as my friend Star (talked to her last night) is really sick and is not sure she will make it through the summer...She is such a trooper and really wants me to come...don't want to be a burden on her, yet she knows that she can certainly do her own thing when I am around....am not a guest who requires much attention, seem to make my own entertainment...so......will go in july...was going at the end of august before...

I hope everyone enjoys their day today...the sun is shining here...although the rain suits me better

Spend the day with love and laughter...and tell eveyone you love today that you love them

good for you, Thalia.  far better to see her when she still has enough energy to enjoy you, and vice versa.

thanks for your good wishes, Jolene.  i'm amazed at how angry and impatient i am with this home inspection process.  i know it's not rational, but he's being so totally critical of everything, i want to rip the guy's face off.  it's at 2 hours and counting...

Those darn inspectors and their reports are potential deal breakers.  I hope all is well with the house and that you don't have to do any repairs in order to get it sold to this buyer.
mold in the attic, Richard.  probably not the horrible kind, since none of us who've lived here are/were sick, but yeah, gonna' be a huge pain in the butt.  i just hope that remediation will be ok for the buyer and that she doesn't walk away completely (as i probably would.)  have one company coming out to take a sample for lab identification of species, mid-week.  apparently, there's no ventilation up there, it's not a leak just no circulation.  so it'll need vents in the end too.  sigh.
What a nuisance!  Yeah attic vents have been required for a few years.  Installing a screened vent in each gable is the easiest fix and the least possibility of water leaking in.  Put Chris to work!  ;-)
getting the vent installed (there's only one end suitable, the living room has cathedral ceiling) will be the easy part.  remediating the mold will require a professional, now that it's been disclosed.
Marty!!!! Are you a Knit Picker?
