flipper,
Thanks for letting me no that the dog photo was manipulated. I was distressin abuot that dog! hahahaha
Before the last hernia surgery. Not photo shopped. They had put a valve in my side so they could pump air into my abdomen daily for about a week before the surgery. They would hook up a hose to me every day, inflate me, and say "Let us know when you can't stand it anymore". For some unknown reason, the air didn't stay in my abdomen, but traveled up into my chest, then my neck, and finally my face.
This was before it got BAD. Before they were done my right eye was completely closed.
Sounds dreadfully uncomfortable!
Not a lot of fun Karin, but not actually painful. I had tons of books cause I knew this was going to be an extended stay. Made reading pretty tough.
I can't even see your big floppy ears bro.
There's a pretty lady growing out of his left ear...
Not really out of my ear LLL, but by my side for sure.
My ears never inflated flipper. :-)
they look a little floppier in your profile pic.
shit Tee that looks like some kind of inflation torture... how is your hernia Now???
Not perfect DD, but a 1000 times better than it was!!!
University Hospital in Cleveland is a teaching hospital. I had newbies from all over the hospital come and ask if they could poke me. (best place was my chest) Their fingers would leave temporary dents that would slowly fill back up as the air returned, but what they wanted was to feel the crepitus. I guess it was fairly rare for these guys to get to feel this.
From Wiki... Crepitus /ˈkrɛpɪtəs/ is a medical term to describe the grating, crackling or popping sounds and sensations experienced under the skin and joints or a crackling sensation due to the presence of air in the subcutaneous tissue.
Kinda felt like rice crispies going snap crackle pop under my skin.
I had a lot of stuff done to me,but I was never inflated.
