TBD on Ning

1: Oh! You got a haircut! That’s so cute! Woman
2: Do you think so? I wasn’t sure when she was gave me the mirror. I mean, you don’t think it’s too fluffy looking?
Woman 1: Oh, good gracious, no! No, it’s perfect. I’d love to get my hair cut like that, but I think my face is too wide. I’m pretty much stuck with this stuff I think.
Woman 2: Are you serious? I think your face is adorable. And you could easily get one of those layer cuts – that would look so cute I think. I was actually going to do that except that I was afraid it would accent my long neck.
Woman 1: Oh – that’s funny! I would love to have your neck! Anything to take attention away from this two-by-four I have for a shoulder line.
Woman 2: Are you kidding? I know girls that would love to have your shoulders. Everything drapes so well on you. I mean, look at my arms – see how short they are? If I had your shoulders I could get clothes to fit me so much easier.

Man 1: Haircut?
Man 2: Yeah.

Lol. That is exactly right!! My ex drove a semi and drove tag team with a fella who went by Dirty Dragon on the CB radio. They were buddies for more than 5 years. We even sold him a car! I asked my ex if DD was married....and my ex didn't know! How do you work and eat with a guy for 5 years and not know if he's married??

Well, if DD was married, at least he never griped about his wife (or bragged about her either for that matter), lol.

That is so true Mimi. Lol!

Not only would one man not comment on another's haircut, he wouldn't likely even notice it.

So true! Coupla years ago on a Monday, DH was playing golf with 3 other old farts who played golf together almost every day. 1 of the guys said to the other 3, "I won't be out here playing again 'till next Monday. My daughter's getting married down in the south part of the state this Saturday." 1 of the other guys says "Why won't you be back here next Sunday? It's only a 4-hour drive down there. You leave right after the wedding on Sat., you can be back out here Sunday morning." 1st guy says "I know; I wanted to drive back on Saturday but the wife says no, we gotta stay Sat. nite too & go out to dinner with the groom's parents and make all nicey-nice with them." Other 3 say, "Aw geez; women!"

Now try & imagine that same conversation with 4 women who have known each other that long, maybe not even women that were friends but were together a lot because of working together, etc. That's right; you can't, can you? They would've not only known about the wedding but where it was gonna be, where the reception was gonna be, what everybody in the wedding party would be wearing & where the newlyweds were going on their honeymoon. So different!
