Great Weekend

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  I'm going  to be busy watching my granddaughter.  Today her mother works and tomorrow she's got tickets to see the New England/Ravens game.  I also have to wrap a couple of presents.  What are your plans for this last weekend before Christmas?

Nothing special. Went to Manhattan today for brunch at Brendan's, an Irish pub, with a women's group that I belong to. As soon as I finish on line, I'll be feeding the girls their afternoon snack. Tomorrow looks like zumba class, church and either the mall or a movie.

I went shopping and out to lunch with my oldest granddaughter, and then we baked cookies. Tomorrow is sugar cookie day. Monday I go back to my daughter's.

Quiet weekend for me too. We are under a winter storm warning with 6-8 inches of snow predicted for my area. So I plan on staying home, throwing a few logs in the fireplace and enjoy the day from the comforts of my home! ;-)

Oh yes, and there's the Packers game to watch. ;-)

I'm babysitting my granddaughter all day.  Her Mom is going to the Ravens game and I'm going to watch it on TV.  The little imp better behave.  I've never seen anyone climb so much and I raised 4 boys.  I need to clean for Christmas, but just don't have the strength to do it.  I've been watching the baby for over a week straight, with just a short break on Wednesday.

Not much going on this week-end.Got about 2 more inches of snow last night. so not going out anywhere.Watch the Broncos at 11am

Well.....the sugar cookies baked; we still need to decorate them. I watched the end of Peyton's game....and now I have the Packers on. We'll frost the cookies this evening. Nothing comes between me and the Pack!

Ravens game was awful.  I don't say that very often.  Now they have to work even harder to get a playoff spot.

Don't feel bad, Helen......both my Packers and the Bears lost today. The only prayer I have of anyone I give a hoot about being In the Super Bowl is Peyton Manning. Thank God for him!

Listen Johnnieboy, that's going to get you a lump of coal for Christmas.  I did hear that the reporters in San Diego are getting giddy that Baltimore lost.  We are going to have to work very hard to win next time the Ravens play.  I knew they were going to have their hands full with New England, but I wasn't expecting what happened.  

Karin, I saw Peyton Manning and he was all excited yesterday.  He is a fabulous player.  I would love to see the Ravens in the superbowl again.

Yeah, Helen, I wouldn't mind the Ravens being in the Super Bowl. At least I'd have someone to root for. The Bears didn't just lose yesterday; they were massacred! A high school team could've beaten them! And I am sure the Skins fans were bitterly disappointed with their 1-pt loss to their mortal enemies, the Cowboys, yesterday. They had had such hope for this season. It's something I am used to......I'm a Cubs fan! :-)
