A biker was riding along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, "Because you have TRIED to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish." The biker pulled over and said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride over anytime I want."

The Lord said, "Your request is materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking. The supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would take! It will nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is hard for Me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind."

The biker thought about it for a long time Finally he said, "Lord, I wish that I and all men could understand our wives. I want to know how she feels inside, what she's thinking when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing's wrong, and how I can make a woman truly happy."

The Lord replied, "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?."

I would think it would be some truth about understanding women . I also believe it would apply to man also in understanding Men ...

Donald, Donald, Donald.

Stop trying to be politically correct!! It applies to women...NOT to most men...we are simple creatures.....we are visually oriented, and not complex in the least....for instance our needs are few.....eat, sleep, and an occasional BJ and we are happy. Women have more needs then most males even knew existed. Now man up  and stop pussyfooting (interesting word choice) around.

Well the last BJ i got was 32 years ago so that's out of the equation . Only apply's to WHO's getting the BJ . Man Ive been out of touch with women so long i don't know anymore . Give some slack please . I would want more from a woman than a BJ anyhow . Friend first then if it happens , companionship . I also have learned being with out the present of a woman hurts . Life has to go on with or without ....

Well there you go Wayne.......you need a BJ......companionship? You've got more in common with other men.....that's where you'll more easily find a friend.

As for cutting you some slack......I'm just messing with you......computer time is fun time for me.......didn't intend to make you feel bad.

Are we getting "touchy, feely" here.  (If aso I want in!!)

You know me dwalt.......always supportive. I'm a feeling type of guy.

I still feel bad that both my wives mysteriously disappeared when the marriages got rocky..........Someday they might resurface (heh, heh).

No bad feelings here . I enjoy my puter also ....

Yes, men are simple creatures for sure.  That's why we love ya'll so much.  It give us more time to think about ourselves...

dwalt.....if you love simple creatures.......I'm your dream come true.......if I even get a whiff of a deep thought I get a headache.

The simpler the better.  I like to keep things thaqt way.  But money does help...Simple money.

Wayne...you are right...it goes both ways.

Uno,dos, 3....I cant speak for all women but I dont feel like, as a woman I  have Complex needs at all. I am kind of simple in what I want out of life. Ok, so I DO dream of living on water (an ocean, a lake, a POND?! Whatever) someday and I want to travel but aside from that, my daily NEEDS are eating, having a comfortable place to live (comfortable meaning a soft couch and bed, indoor plumbing...LOL!), nature to enjoy, music to listen to, books to read, ideas to think about, etc. and preferably a dog also.

I SAID my daily needs were the comfortable place to live but I think camping is fun and a good way to figure out what you really do and dont need. Two weeks in Africa with NO electricity or plumbing except the last couple days of the trip will ALSO make you realize you CAN get used to living with pretty much NOTHING and still be happy enough...!! (But PLEASE, I dont want to live in Africa.....LOL!!)
