A sad story to be sure. Making war unfortunately seems to be what we do too well as a country....and there is no comfort for loved ones with all the platitudes about them doing their duty. It needs to stop.

yeah this is sad .. and so stupid .. this is a war that should never have happened .. yet when it was about to happen i can remember arguin with just about everybody .. so many had the mind set that this was gonna be like a football game and we should just cheer the troops on .. and what kinda asshole was i to not get on board .. where was my patriotism .. i felt like sysifus rollin a stone up a mountain with my nose .. and i told everybody this is not gonna turn out like you think .. you'll see . we'll get in iraq and they'll just pick off 2 or 3 troops every day and send em home in a box .. and it'll probably go on for years cause once we're in we can't just get out .. bush is an idiot and has no idea what he's doin .. he thinks the iraqis are gonna throw roses at out feet for liberatin em .. well this aint france and it ain't world war 2 .. there were no wmd's and sadam gave them everything they asked for as far as the weapons he did have .. don't get me wrong i'm no fan of sadam and i'm sure he did do a lot of the things they said he did and he probably did a lot of things we didn't even know he did .. but he didn't do everything they said he did . and in the end history will say that sadam was the one tellin the truth about the wmd's and not bush .. hans blix the un weapons inspector told bush mr president don't invade .. if you have some knowledge about where these weapons are tell me and i'll get them .. let me do my job .. because i'm here everyday and i don't see any .. bush ignored him and invaded anyway .. what a fucken genius he was huh ?? and how many have died because of his bein so obtuse ?? and then in 2004 he got reelected .. wtf ?? i mean WTF??? WTF?? in all my life i never disliked a president more than g.w. bush .. i thought he was arrogant and stupid .. a deadly combination .. if i said it once i said it 100 times .. i'd have rather had nixon back then bush ..and i was never a big nixon fan either .. but nixon would have had the sense to not start a war ..and nixon was already dead .. i'd still take him over bush .. jimmy carter lost the election because of the hostages in iran and he didn't invade iran ..that made him look weak . but he got them hostages out .. soon as reagan got in they were set free right away cause they knew reagan was dumb enough to invade .. now we're wrestlein with this big budget shortfall .. if we could have back the trillions we spent in iraq things would be lookin a lot better now wouldn't they ?? and now finally more than 10 years later most agree that it was wrong and stupid to invade iraq .. duhhh .. i saw jeb bush on one of them sunday talk shows and he said that history will remember his brother more fondly then they do now .. of course he's tryin to position himself for a run at the presidency in 2016 .. well lets hope that he's wrong on both counts .. he won't elected and his brother will not be remembered fondly for this war .. and you'd think g.w. would have known better commin from the vietnam generation ?? but then he was awol in the national guard anyway and never really served .. got transfered to alabama from texas and then never showed up for his guard duty .. for those of us who do remember vietnam , here's a song by john fogarty of creedence clearwater revival about seein the same shit all over again .. from 2004 .. one of the only sane futhermuckers out there at the time..

i couldn't help it vicki .. i try not to get too emotional when it comes to this kinda shit but this ain't about red states or blue states . and i always try to see both sides when i can .. i mean we're all americans in the end right?? but this was just a plain abuse of power that got a lot of people on both sides killed and for what ?? i mean he's the fucken president he should be smarter than that and the whole time i watched it all unfold i was thinkin this guy is a fucken idiot .. history will not remember him fondly if i have anything at all to say about it ..

We were screaming with you frenchy, I hated that shrub with a passion for starting that war. I was so infuriated, bush is lucky no family member of mine lost a life because if they had I personally think I would have taken that shrub out. It was all lies and they knew it.

I do know that articles of impeachment were written...I watched them ufold on cspan and I think Columbia Law School did a mock trial...and then it all just went away I have always thought he and his buddies...most especially Cheny should be held accountable for lying, causing the death of our troops, and ripping us off.

nah .. you don't have to shutup chief .. you're sayin what you feel .. and its real .. none of us can ever hope to agree on everything .. but we should be able to at least agree on lettin someone say what they feel weather we agree or not .. i think a lot of people supported bush and got duped .. i mean we had sadam on one side and bush on the other .. who were we supposed to believe ?? who knew that in the end it would be bush that was lyin and sadam was actually tellin the truth ?? it was a different world durin ww2 .. the lines were pretty clearly drawn and we knew who the good guys were and who the bad guys were.. its a lot more complicated now .. nowadays you can turn on the tv for the news and all acordin to what channel you put on its not even close to the same story the way they spin it to suit their goals .. nowadays i try to scratch a lot deeper to get to the truth .. cause i know its in there .. it may be burried pretty deep but if you dig enough it'll come out .. usually . maybe not at first .. but eventually ..
