TBD on Ning

well i saw cresty's post about the most romantic movies ever and it got me to thinkin .. so i did a google and a yahoo search to see what their lists held .. and none of them were exactly the same .. sure most of em had movies like the notebook and gone with the wind and sleepless in seatle.. but its amazing how different they all were .. but most of em were all movies most people have probably seen .. no,,nobody said the criteria was popular movies only .. and maybe thats what they meant and i just didn't get the memo?? or maybe some of the movies on my list were just too much of a sleeper to be included ..

so what makes me an expert that i can make a list ?? well quinten tarrentino said that he knew movies so well because he worked in a video store .. well i owned a video store and while its nice to know movies , as the owner you have to know what people will like or you won't be in business long .. i didn't make it as long as i did cause i didn't know movies .. not knowin what hollywood was gonna do next is another story and thats what killed the video store industry ..

so here's my list of the most romantic movies that you probably never heard of .. or if you did they didn't make any of the lists i looked at .. and i looked at a lot of lists .. i'll post em one at a time in no particular order and you guys can comment on them if you've seen them or would like to .. i'm sure netflix probably has most of em or if you have movies on demand, put em in your queue .. you'll thank me .. i promise ..

that's part of a partnership jo...same as knowing to answer 'no' when the question is "do these pants make my butt look fat?" and not say "no dear it does it all by itself without any help"

I genuinely felt my husbands were that knight. I think that's what made the ending so painful; the higher you go....the further you fall.

there are a couple others......Monte Walsh with selleck...not quite a romance but traces of it with isabella rosellini

and Open Range with Kevin Costner, Robert Duvall and Annette Benning..this is a FULL version

and i know some people love sam elliott...so here is Conagher in two parts....

This is making me think of another one of my very favorites.  Larry Kozinksi's father says to him, "You have failed ate everything except life."  Beautiful little story.

yeah i totally agree cresty.. its no. three on my list here ..

I love that he wanted to open a restaurant just so he could put up a sign that said: Gone Fishing!  And he did. This was romance all the way around: Love, the dreams in our heads, freedom, all of it.
