Super bowl

Kind of a one sided game going on here, which is sort of surprising.  But anyway, anybody seen any really good commercials they want to comment on?

I didn't watch the game . I'll watch commercials later . I like Bob Dylan but not all his songs . Why didn't Denver show up . Really embarrassing for them and the fans to play so poorly .

I was at my brother's house...Superbowl party....lots of food yummy. I think about half showed some interest in the game but I'm thinking they were just watching commercials..my sister in law and her sister and I were watching Sherlock on the BBC in a different room...I occasionally would see a commercial when my nephew came into the room and said it was a good one....DVR delay lol...I know we were bad...We did watch Downton Abby though so that was good.

I am soooo  proud of the Seahawks. They are just as greast off the field as on.  I did almost feel sorry for Denver though. I don't think anyone thought it would be that one sided. They were great!

I never expected this game to be so one-sided either but Seattle really did outplay Denver.

As for the commercials, I loved the one with the puppy and the Clydesdales but my favorite was Coke's "America the Beautiful".  Apparently there are a lot of negative comments coming in about it (which I expected) but I thought it was a beautiful ad.

Blithe.....wasn't Sherlock great??? I love that show, and the actors in it. So smart and fast-paced. You can't take a bathroom break or you'll miss something important. And this one was exceedingly fascinating...with all the dream sequences in it.

Karin..Sherlock is a new program for me. I am watching old episodes trying to catch up and watching the new ones..lucky for me I had someone explaining who was who and the significance...the episodes are fast paced...and killing the bad guy or not...I've been enjoying the story a lot.
Have you been watching Elementary on one of the networks..another take on the Sherlock personna...kind of interesting.
I've been watching more TV lately since I'm not teaching right now...no grading or lesson plans..lots of extra time in the evenings..woo hoo!

I do like Elementary, too, but I fell in love with this version 3 years ago. Then I thought it wasn't coming back because it had been so long since the last season. i was delighted to find it on again. You will get hooked; i am sure of it.
