Kind of a one sided game going on here, which is sort of surprising.  But anyway, anybody seen any really good commercials they want to comment on?

Did I just see a commercial with Bob Dylan hawking for an american car company?

Yes.....I'm afraid you did.

I liked the Budweiser commercial about the returning veteran.  And the one where the dad comes to his boy's rescue all the time, and then he's teaching him how to drive and they're both ogling the same young girl, and the automatic braking system has to protect both of them.

please don't tell me he was singing 'like a rolling stone'? say it ain't so ....

Is that what Dylan does......sing?  I wondered what you called that noise that comes out of him.  ;-)

next thing you know they'll have a computer generated elvis touting for reverse mortgages and the rolling stones for insurance for nursing home care....

:-)  I love it!

I liked the VW commercial..every time one rolls over 100,000 miles a German engineer get his wings...
and then the daughter adds when it rolls over 120,000 miles rainbows come out of his butt...cute!

I liked that commercial too B.  And Like Karin, I got a chuckle out of the father son and the automatic brakes.

I went to the movies to see Philomena.  Here is my little teeny review that I posted on FB:

I think I did infinitely better than those who watched the Super Bowl. Philomena was about the search for a child and abuses of the Irish Catholic Church ala the Magdalen Sisters and the laundries in which the unwed mothers had to work. BUT, it was also about forgiveness and an unflinching faith that is hard for people who don't believe in God to understand. My friends didn't cry, but I did because of the faith bit. Judy Densch was like some Irish Catholic working class aunt or friend we have known, and Steve Coogan was wonderful with his dry humor and compassion and cynicism about religion.

I have wanted to see this movie since it came out...

I liked the puppy who wanted to live with the Clydesdale.

what a sad game that one was wasn't it ? after all the really good playoff games that were so close and then this one .. but then thats how a lot of superbowls are .. i thought the seahawks had a a better team than i thought but i never thought it would go like it did .. it was a real massacre .. almost as bad as the little big horn and custers last stand .. somebody shoulda stepped in and stopped the bleedin long before the final gun sounded .. it was hard to watch ..

and yeah that was dylan doin a car commercial .. never thought i'd ever see that .. never never never ..
