Whichever one feels the most comfortable at the time, lol! I have multiple pairs of Beautifeel shoes - I discovered that they feel the best on MY feet, so I've got casual sandals, dressy sandals, and closed toe shoes in that brand. I won't wear shoes that hurt my feet, but some cute ones are okay for dress up but not for standing around in for hours on end or doing a lot of walking. So... it depends on the situation and what I'll be doing!
The shoes I like best are those I really like...they either feel really good or they look really good.
Chief....you take the prize for MAN WITH MOST SHOES....LOL
I don't LOVE shoes like most women but I HATE bare feet for the most part. I probably have more summer shoes than ANY OTHERS. I DONT have one single pair of high heels. I have had pain in my feet thru the years and so I go for comfort. I have found the PERFECT for me "flip flop". They're rubbery slip ons called OKABASHI and for YEARS, the ONLY place I could find them is Walgreen's. There is a certain style that is best for me but Okabashis are SO hard to find so everytime I am out of state I go into every WALGREENS I see. I am up to about 4 pairs that are virtually the same. LAST year, in Africa, I had walked up from the beach up these STEEP DUNES and realized (WHEN I GOT TO THE PRICKLY STICKS AND GRASS PART!!) that I had dropped ONE shoe WAYYYYYY back. I could SEE the OKABASHI sandal so I TOSSED the other one NEAR it so some AFRICAN is wearing my brand new pair (I had ANOTHER identical pair in my suitcase and 5 more at home!!)
I LOVE "tennishoes", walking shoes, etc. LOVE New Balance too! There's ANOTHER brand and the name ALLUDES me right now because I have been wearing my Cabelo's Hiking shoes. I LOVE those!! ALSO my Minnetonka moccassins, Skechers "laceless". I JUST bought a pair of Dr, Scholl's summer walking shoes/sandals through the mail and I LOVE them. OH...and SLIPPERS are another thing, if I find ones I like, I buy several for when they wear out. My feet are BIG and its not always easy to find slippers that aren't TIGHT. (They're SIZE 10-11 depending.)
Hmmm, I don't know Chief, you hurried up and said you JUST got rid of a bag of shoes before you posted here so I don't know! LOL!
I own 5 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of boots. I never have had a shoe fetish like my daughters and granddaughters. My oldest daughter has a pair of gym shoes in a color to match almost every outfit she has. I don't have many shoes.....but I have more than ever before in my life. When my kids were growing up I had two pair....one pr of gym shoes, and one pair of heels. Maybe a pair of sandals, if I were lucky. And many winters I went without boots so my kids could have them. So my little array of shoes is luxury to me.
I don't wear heels anymore, because of my knees, but I really miss them. I have a small heel on one of my prs of boots, but I don't wear them for much walking. I don't feel dressed up without heels. I wear no flip-flops; they chew up my toes, and I'm allergic to pain.
not too many .. i have a pair of old swade boots from the 70's but i ain't worn them in years .. who knows tho if we get some kinda artic cold front down here i might dig em outta the closet .. an old pair of work boots and a couple of pairs of sneakers .. i'm not much of a dress up .. never cared much for fashion ..
Rock ports is an excellent shoe . If i worked i would choose Mason shoes . Seems to be better for Concrete . Frenchy those swede boots might be worth something today and time ....
I also quit wearing Socks when i developed Diabetes ....
