I have owned one each of Ford, Chrysler, and AMC products made in Canada. In older days the only way to tell from a distance on the Ford trucks was the FORD was I think red on the tailgate on the Canadian and a different color on the U.S. models. It will say on the door tag. Now it is probably a fuzzy designation. The oil to make the tires, plastic parts, etc. is imported. The sand for the glass in the quality vehicles and old ones was imported from the middle east, now I don't know but they sure get pitted fast. The metallic ores are from around the world sometimes exported to another country, made into ingots, exported again to another country, made into parts, exported, etc, etc..
According to Cars.com, here are the "most" American made models for sale right now.
I just discovered my Highlander is now built in Indiana...since 2010 anyway.
Interesting about the Camry. The Highlander is built on a Camry chassis I also found out.

in '81 i bought a '73 pinto for $50,it was a 4-speed wagon,in decent shape,i never put a penny into it,a month after i bought it,a drunk driver ran a red light and hit the back fender,(just dented it a little),his insurance company sent me a check for $525.i drove the car for about a year after that, then sold the motor for $50,and scrapped the rest for $30.
