I would also , really no use to change . XP almost gone . 7 be here a long time ...

thanks for the heads up .. i thought the desktop page was different but i can find what i'm lookin for on mine just fine as it is .. i think they're tryin to merge two systems together and make em work both ways .. and for some that may be a good compromise .. but i don't have a cell phone or get on the internet that way .. i have a pretty good laptop but nancy got that so i never get to use that anymore .. ehh .. it keeps her happy so if she's happy i'm happy .. so i don't see a need to mashup the two systems and try to make em work as one for both things .. i think i'll stick with 7 for awhile too .. anybody got any idea when they're commin out with 9 ?? i didn't even know they were gonna come out with 8 .. i thought they were gonna push this cloud thing and have everybody store all their info there .. i suppose there's good and bad about that but i don't like the idea .. with all this eric snowden and stuff like that i don't need anybody trapsin thru my computer.. hey maybe the next one will be the cloud and they'll call it 9 .. get it cloud 9 ?? yuk yuk .. eh.. probably not that funny ..

never completely trust the cloud..after all it is there for hacking 24/7.... (by the by...the cloud is different than the OS....the cloud is storage tho they are also moving into actual programs being accessed on the cloud. thus some prognosticators are saying eventually you won't buy and 'own' software but will rent the programs and pay fees...not to my taste tho since i detest the constant drain like cable tv etc)

samsung has a new simcard or minisd card in the offing that can be up to 320gb..thus you could have a smartphone with 320gb of storage....
