I LOVE Prarie Home Companion sometimes.   I think it is available online as well.  Once I listened and it had Itzak Perlman and he played Jewish gypsy music, well not gypsy, but someting akin to it.  And I heard a show alsow with Suzt Boguss and Steve Wariner.  Once he had a talent show and the music was wonderful from a bunch of unknowns.  Yay!

and just think ...emmylou harris and crowell have played together off and on for 40 years...

i saw her in the early 70s in the circle star theater in san carlos california in a show with willie nelson and joan baez showed up to sit in..GREAT show
