best of luck on that karin..take lots of warm clothes in case

and maybe some okra....it will provide you with the incentive to get thru...(if we get stuck, we'll have to eat cold okra!)

of course the best of luck to yous guys.

Well, we made it to the restaurant just in time for them to decide to close. My sil says they are telling drivers to stay off the highway. Those without a reason to be out could be fined. The wind was our worst enemy on the way up; we will have it at our back on the way home. Visibility wasn't as poor as we anticipated, but the roads are very icy and the wind is awful. It will take another hour before we are ready to leave. We'll see what we will see......

Safe trip home!!!

BE CAREFUL !

Well, guys, you're stuck with me! We made it. It was much worse on the way home than on the way up. The light powdery snow turned into heavy, wet Lake Effect snow, and our visibility was severely affected. I kinda wished I were driving instead, cuz my son-in-law's night vision isn't as good as mine. But he took it nice and slow, and since there was no one on the road but us....we could drive down the middle of the road unless there were headlights coming at us. I kept an eye on the mailboxes.....making sure we stayed at least 6 ft inside them. So, cancel the Irish wake you guys had planned for me. :-)

glad you made it home karin..and now......downton abbey time.....

yeah i'm glad too karin .. ida missed ya .. yeah i woulda ..
