I can sit up now . Some swelling is going down . Doctors Nurse said She found a place that will come out and help me for one month to heal up enough to get to doctor . I'm not in pain due to 800 milligrams of Ibuprofen my Aunt gave me .

From all the experiences I have had with insurance and without and medicaid or medicare, have seen no difference in the type of care I received.

And Wayne....you do have to help yourself as much as possible by following instructions and doing the best you can with all the other things with your health. You have to be to be your own advocate...you must fight for yourself and your needs and requirements.

I was paralysed in my 40's for almost 3years from the waist down...After cancer treatment and lots of rehab, I learned to walk again, went back to college for another career change and ta da here I am. Life owes us nothing...and it is what we make of it....and I did this on social disabilty and medicare.

Find out the resources you have in your area and make use of them. Going to a nursing home is not the end of the world...you can get the care you need that you can't get at home to help yourself.

I really do understand .and know that true . Right now it feels like being stuck in time and helpless . I also know in time things will be better .maybe even better than better ...
