TBD on Ning

I can sit up now . Some swelling is going down . Doctors Nurse said She found a place that will come out and help me for one month to heal up enough to get to doctor . I'm not in pain due to 800 milligrams of Ibuprofen my Aunt gave me .

Be sure and eat before you take that. You don't want or need an ulcer on top of everything else.
Glad you are doing better, keep us posted.

Glad you're feeling better and not in pain.  Take it easy with the ibuprofen.  Pain is there to remind us not to overdo, too!

I only have a 2 day supply and take one 8 to 10 hours apart . I'm not one that take much pain medicine . Hope Dwalt does well with his Die ...

Just make sure you drink plenty of fluids while taking pain pills. I almost destroyed my right kidney from years of Ibuprofen.  I never was much of a water drinker, and that was a problem.

Karen i do drink a lot of water . Back when i worked i was taking 50 Ibuprofen a week . And yes i had acid reflux , heartburn . When i quit taking pills like that the symptoms went away . Don't get indigestion or heart burn now a days .....

Glad things are looking up.  If you need it, you can buy generic Advil and take four of them if when you run out of the ones you have you still have pain.

Everybody is giving you good advice because everyone cares about you.

I got a visit from my Physical Therapist  He checked me out . He said it seemed my knee cap has moved up about an inch or so and there was a hole where the ligament should be . Said Physical therapy wouldn't help me at this point . Said not try standing on it . Guess another trip to ER for me . May need surgery to see if they can fix my up . Other that that i don't know . At least my spirits are still high ...

That is what the therapist said .

it's not a trip to the er. it means a referral from your primary physician to a specialist, most likely a surgeon who can reattach the ligament. that way it is covered under the insurance and they get paid whether thru blue cross or medicaid or whatever. that's how the system works. and it worked that way all those years before the affordable health care act

That is true. My problem is i am bed-fast right now . Especially after the last fall . I can get to my doctor or any where else unless EMS will transport me . When home health came out Sat . They had their Therapists come by and check me out . He feels there is a tear in my knee and said it would be useless to help me till it's fixed .

Wii try and talk to Doctors Nurse in the Morning and see what to do next . Maybe another trip to er for who knows what .

I wonder if the fact i am disabled and only have Medicare that i get lesser service ?

I may end up in an old folks home but i feel better about Death that that option , just a thought ...

no better time than right now to start gettin serious about your health wayne .. we're all gettin older and we'll all have shit happen to us because of the onset of age , but thats no reason to just give up .. cause the more you ignore stuff the worse it will get .. if you get some of that weight off even if its just a few pounds at a time thats a step in the right direction .. and once you get goin in the right direction .. keep goin the same way .. slow and steady is the way to go ..

When people start talking about death being an option, I think in their heads it is!  Diana Nyad wouldn't think that, for sure--and she is 64.

Wayne, it will be hard to get better, but you have to decide if you want to. And I don't think you would get lesser treatment if you were in a dire situation, but if the caretakers see your not taking care of yourself--well,they can't force you.

I hope you find the strength in yourself to FIGHT and get up and start walking again. The fight has to be in YOU.
